NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Danny Odem scored 21 points to lead Farrell past Union (New Castle), 58-51, at the Ron Galbreath Classic on the campus of Westminster College.
Simeir Wade added 13 points for the Steelers (8-3).
Union fell to 6-9 after the loss.
SHEFFIELD 42, OSWAYO VALLEY 29
SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Leihden Wotorson scored 14 points, grabbed six rebounds, handed out three assists, and made three steals to lead Sheffield to a 42-29 win over visiting Oswayo Valley.
Dylan Hardwick added 12 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals in the win for the Wolverines (5-8).
Conner Resig paced Oswayo Valley (1-9) with 11 points with Dawson Welch adding nine tallies.
COUDERSPORT 57, BROCKWAY 31
COUDERSPORT, Pa. – In his first game of the season after missing 11 with a broken wrist, Reilly Streich recorded a 15-point, 10-rebound double-double to lift Coudersport to a 57-31 home win over Brockway.
Mason Roessner had a game-high 19 points for the Falcons (6-6) while Micah Batson added 10 points and six steals.
Kyle Kennedy, Ben Yale, and Reese Yahner each scored six points for Brockway (1-10).
CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 64, CONNEAUT 59
LINESVILLE, Pa. – A strong second half helped visiting Cambridge Springs overcome a slow start to pick up a 64-59 win over Conneaut.
The Blue Devils (7-4) trailed 34-27 at halftime after being outscored 20-13 in the first quarter.
But Parker Schmidt scored seven third-quarter points and Zeek Carlson-Smith added six in the frame to help Cambridge Springs outscore Conneaut (8-4) 22-14 in the third quarter to take a 49-48 lead into the final eight minutes.
Schmidt then hit 6 of 6 free throws and scored 11 of Cambridge Springs’ 15 fourth-quarter points to close out the win.
Schmidt had a game-high 27 points in the victory with Owen Riley adding 14 and Carson-Smith nine.
Shakiir Jordan scored 24 points for Conneaut with Alex Brady, Greg Klink, and Aiden Tyson each adding six.
ALIQUIPPA 55, FRANKLIN 38
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Joshua Pratt scored 18 points to lead Aliquippa to a 55-38 win over Franklin in the Ron Galbreath Classic on the campus of Westminster College.
Demarkus Walker added eight points for the Quips (9-3).
Jalen Wood paced Franklin (7-4) with 14 points with Damon Curry adding eight points.
