HICKORY 3, SLIPPERY ROCK 0

HICKORY, Pa. – Behind a combined 23 kills from Aniyah Anderson and Adalyn Duncan Hickory swept visiting Slippery Rock, 3-0 (25-21, 25-12, 25-20) to clinch a perfect regular season at 13-0.

Anderson led the Hornets with 12 kills with Duncan adding 11 kills. Paige Griffith also had nine kills for the Hornets with Raeley Gargano chipping in eight kills.

Rachel Wiesen led the defensive effort for Hickory with 32 digs, and Kelsey Gargano added 29 digs. Giaona Caputo helped run the offense with 14 set assists.

            

Tiffany Madison had 13 kills, 12 digs, and three aces for Slippery Rock with Virginia Recchia adding 16 digs and 13 set assists and Klara Wilson 18 digs.

OTTO-ELDRED 3, OSWAYO VALLEY 2

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Reilly Raught had 11 kills, six blocks, seven digs, and two aces to lead Otto-Eldred to a hard-fought, 3-2 (22-25, 25-19, 25-13, 17-25, 15-10) win over visiting Oswayo Valley in a playoff tuneup for both squads.

Haley Cousins added eight kills, seven digs, and two aces for the Lady Terrors with Morgan Dalton chipping in six kills and six aces and Brianna Silvis five kills and four blocks.

Emmalee Sheeler ran the offense for Otto-Eldred with 33 set assists and added three blocks and four aces.

                          

Jadyn Brabham had 17 kills, three aces, and two blocks to pace Oswayo Valley. Macy West added 11 kills, nine digs, five blocks, and two aces.

Johanna Dickerson ran the offense for the Green Wave with 14 set assists and added eight blocks, three aces, three digs, and two kills.

CORRY 3, COCHRANTON 0

COCHRANTON, Pa. – Corry added to Cochranton’s late-season struggles sweeping the homestanding Cardinals, 3-0 (25-19, 25-20, 25-16), the third consecutive loss for Cochranton, which is ranked ninth in the state in Class 1A.

Rachel Brady paced Corry with 14 kills and 14 digs with Allison Zaczkiewicz running the offense with 39 set assist and also adding 12 digs.

CRANBERRY 3, KEYSTONE 1

SENECA, Pa. – Ava Ferringer had 12 kills, eight blocks, and three aces to help Cranberry top visiting Keystone, 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 19-25, 25-11).

Maria Anderson added six kills and five aces for the Berries who also got four aces, two kills, and two blocks from Jenna Reynolds, four kills from Brooke Hart, and three digs, and a block from Mackenzie Karnes.

Sara Allaman ran the offense for Cranberry with 15 set assists.

CONNEAUT (Pa.) 3, MEADVILLE 0

                        

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Conneaut (Pa.) swept past visiting Meadville, 3-0 (25-14, 25-16, 25-23).

Meadville was paced by six kills each from MIa Soerensen and Ella Stewart with Jillian Decker adding six digs and 14 set assists.

Conneaut stats weren’t available.

WARREN 3, TITUSVILLE 1

WARREN, Pa. – Behind 11 kills, four blocks, three digs, and an ace from Jordan Sitler, Warren beat visiting Titusville, 3-1 (25-9, 25-17, 20-25, 25-16).

         

Hannah Shattuck contributed six kills, five digs, a set assist, and an ace to the win, while Carly Beers added five kills, two digs, and two aces, and Kylie Fehlman five kills and two blocks.

Katie Madigan paced the defense with 19 digs and added eight aces, five assists, and a kill, while Meredith Morrison also had 12 digs and an ace.

Halee Mineweaser ran the offense for the Dragons with 25 set assists while also recording three kills, two blocks, and eight digs.

SHARPSVILLE 3, A-C VALLEY 1

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Sharpsville topped visiting A-C Valley, 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20).

Sharpsville stats weren’t available, but Mia Sherman led A-C Valley with nine kills and 10 digs. Andrea Meals and Meah Ielase each added eight kills with Ielase chipping in 11 digs and Meals 10 digs. Rachel Cullen led the Lady Falcons defense with 15 digs, and Terra Stefanacci ran the offense with 23 set assists.
