O-E Girls Complete Second Straight Unbeaten NTL Season; NoPo, Coudy Get Wins

SMETHPORT, Pa. – Otto-Eldred secured its second straight unbeaten NTL season with a 62-24 win at Smethport.

The Lady Terrors, who had already clinched their second consecutive conference title, have won 32 in a row in conference play (it might have been more but the 2020-21 season didn’t feature an NTL because of the COVID-19 bubble).

Katie Sheeler led Otto-Eldred with 21 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, five steals, and two blocked shots.

Anna Merry added 10 points for the Lady Terrors with Carried Drummond contributing four rebounds, four steals, and eight points, Brooke Close four rebounds, three steals, and five points, and Bri Heller five points and four rebounds.

                                      

Elizabeth Hungiville had nine points and 12 rebounds for Smethport and hauled down her 500th career board in the process.

Jaidyn Goodman added eight points for the Lady Hubbers.

NORTHERN POTTER 46, CAMERON COUNTY 31

ULYSSES, Pa. – Rebecca Martin had 13 points and eight rebounds to help Northern Potter to a 46-31 win over visiting Cameron County in NTL action.

                          

Reagan Slawson added 10 points for the Lady Panthers with Kayden Brown chipping in nine points and 11 rebounds while Haylee Champman added eight points. Molly Caddy also had eight rebounds in the victory while scoring four points.

Aubree Lorenzo scored 17 points for Cameron County.

COUDERSPORT 48, AUSTIN 22

COUDERSPORT, Pa. – Emma Chambers had 19 points and six assists to lead Coudersport to a 48-22 home NTL win over Austin.

Bel Porterfield added 11 points and six steals for the Lady Falcons with Oliva Fink hauling down seven rebounds to go with six points and Sierra Myers added eight rebounds and four points.

Ella Brewer had 10 points for Austin with Isabella Rees adding six points, nine rebounds, and four steals.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 53, BRADFORD 22

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Lucy Klawuhn hit four 3-pointers on her way to 15 points, as Elk County Catholic beat visiting Bradford, 53-22, in D9 League action.

Tori Newton added 10 points for the Lady Crusaders with Emily Mourer chipping in with eight points.

Kalie Dixon had 14 points for Bradford.

                                   

REDBANK VALLEY 59, KEYSTONE 45

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Mylee Harmon scored 25 points, as Redbank Valley raced past visiting Keystone, 59-45, in KSAC Large School action.

Alivia Huffman added eight points and Caylen Rearick seven for the Lady Bulldogs.

Ashlee Albright had a career-high 20 points for Keystone while hitting six 3-pointers with Natalie Bowser adding 14 points.

CLARION-LIMESTONE 54, CRANBERRY 38

SENECA, Pa. – Visiting Clarion-Limestone used a big second half to turn a three-point halftime lead into a 54-38 win over Cranberry in KSAC Large School play.

The Lady Lions led 23-20 at the break before outscoring the Berries 14-7 in the third quarter and 17-11 in the fourth quarter.

Lexi Coull had 10 of her game-high 18 points in the fourth quarter and scored 14 second-half points for C-L, while Alyssa Wiant and Jenna Dunn each added 12 points and Alex Leadbetter scored eight tallies.

Mariah Wessell led Cranberry with 10 points with Kendell Findlay and Jadyn Shumaker each scoring seven.

CLARION 45, A-C VALLEY 26

FOXBURG, Pa. – Scoring all its points in the first three quarters, Clarion rolled to a 45-26 road KSAC Small School win over A-C Valley.

The Lady Cats led 45-19 after 24 minutes.

Sophie Babington led Clarion with 15 points with Taylor Alston adding 12.

Maddy Dehart had 10 points and eight rebounds to lead A-C Valley with Ava Snyder adding eight points. Mackenzie Parks chipped in five steals and two points, and Keira McVay had five assists and two points.

DUBOIS 39, CLEARFIELD 25

                                  

DUBOIS, Pa. – Led by 11 points from Alexa Pfeufer eight different DuBois players scored in a 39-25 win over visiting Clearfield.

Abbie McCoy added eight points for the lady Beavers who also got six from Kam Fontaine.

Mia Helsel led Clearfield with 13 points with Hannah Glunt adding six.

KANE 47, BROOKVILLE 24

KANE, Pa. – Mia Anderson had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds to help Kane to a 47-24 home win over Brookville.

Maya Smith also added 13 points in the win for the Lady Wolves.

Eden Wonderling had 13 points for Brookville.

NORTH CLARION 63, UNION 23

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Lily Homan and Lauren Lutz combined to score 38 points in North Clarion’s 63-23 home win over Union in KSAC Small School play.

The victory secured an unbeaten divisional season for the She-Wolves.

Homan led North Clarion with 20 points with Lutz adding 18.

Maria Bauer chipped in eight tallies in the victory.

Katie Gezik paced Union with six points.
