BROCKWAY, Pa. – The eighth annual Frank Varischetti All-Star football game is rapidly approaching, with kickoff slated for this Friday, June 30 at 7 p.m. at Frank Varischetti Field in Brockway.
The North and South teams are made up of student-athletes from the Class of 2023 who played football for one of the 22 District 9 League Schools.
The North is made up of players from Bradford, Brockway, Bucktail, Cameron County, Coudersport, Elk County Catholic, Kane, Otto-Eldred, Port Allegany, Ridgway, Sheffield, Smethport, and St. Marys, led by head coach Troy Cook of Otto-Eldred.
The South, coached by Moniteau’s Bob Rottman, is comprised of players from Brookville, Central Clarion, DuBois, Karns City, Keystone, Moniteau, Punxsutawney, Redbank Valley, and Union/AC Valley.
