Maplewood Goes to the Air to Knock off Reynolds

   
   

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Freshman quarterback Kyle Jordan threw three touchdown passes to Dorian Doubet as Maplewood picked up its second win of the season, 27-6 over Reynolds.

The Tigers led 6-0 at halftime on the strength of a Jordan 34-yard pass to Doubet in the second quarter, and broke the game open in the second half.

The Tigers scored on their first drive of the third quarter, as the duo hooked up for a 34-yard score.

Reynolds responded with its only score of the game on the next drive, courtesy of a Travis Blackburn 2-yard touchdown run.

Maplewood punched right back, as AJ Proper broke free for a 32-yardd touchdown run with 2:55 to go in the third quarter.

            

Midway through the fourth quarter, Jordan and Doubet connected one final time on a 59-yard touchdown pass.

Three touchdown passes were the first three scores through the air for Maplewood this season.
