Gill Gets 100th Win as Reynolds Tops Slippery Rock Powered by Luton’s Plumbing, Heating & AC

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Reynolds senior Louie Gill picked up his 100th career win as the Raiders beat Slippery Rock, 52-13.

                        

Gill, an N.C. State commit, pinned Peyton Reich in 49 seconds in their 127-pound bout.

Gill recorded 30 wins as a freshman and 42 as a sophomore at Hickory before transferring to Reynolds, where he was 21-3 and was ruled ineligible for the postseason.

Gill’s pin was one of three for Reynolds in the match, with Casey Resek (285) and Angelo Lomonte (114) also won by fall.

Logan Stewart (133) and Waylon Waite (121) won by tech fall for the Raiders.

                              

Zane McClelland won by fall and Zac Tuberville by major decision for Slippery Rock.

CLEARFIELD 50, TYRONE 21

HYDE, Pa. – Clearfield won four weight classes by fall and three more by forfeit in a 50-21 win over Tyrone.

Dakota Shugarts (121), Colton Ryan (139), Colton Bumbarger (145) and Ty Aveni (152) won by pin for Clearfield.

Will Domico (160) won by tech fall for the Bison and Brady Collins (172) by decision.

                          

CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 40, MAPLEWOOD 26

GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Cambridge Springs earned four wins via pin in a 40-26 win over Maplewood.

Tyler Shepard (215), Rowan Felkies (114), Preston Gorton (160), and James Sherman (189) won by fall for the Blue Devils, who also got a major decision from Brody Beck at 152.

Cadyn Shetler (121), Chase Blake (127) and Zayne Smith (172) won by fall for Maplewood.

COCHRANTON 40, CONNEAUT 30

LINESVILLE, Pa. – Cochranton won four bouts by pin in a 40-30 win over Conneaut.

Dane King (127), Blake Foulk (152), Cash Morrell (172) and Gabe Carter all won by fall for Cochranton.

Bryce Hart got a major decision for the Cardinals at 133, as they also won two matches by forfeit.

Daylee Watson (121), Hunter Gould (139), Chase Stewart (215) and Drew Dygert (285) won by pin for CASH.

GREENVILLE 37, SHARPSVILLE 24

                           

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – Greenville won four boys by fall and three by decision in a 37-24 win over Sharpsville.

Mason Goodspeed (121), Hunter Cox (145), Myles Robertson (152) and Madilyn Enterline (107) won by fall for Greenville.

Tyler Enterline (114) won by major decision for the Trojans and Teague Calvin (215), Justin Perrino (127) and Joey Peterson (285) by decision.

Alex Rueberger (139), Josh Divens (172) and David Moyer (189) won by pin for Sharpsville and Ethan Springer (133) and Caullin Summers (160) by decision.

CORRY 78, YOUNGSVILLE 0

CORRY, Pa. – Corry won five bouts by pin and eight more by forfeit in a 78-0 win over Youngsville.

Kael Albers (215), Logan Hodak (121), Steven Willis (127), Gabe Scouten (152) and Lamech Albers (160) got pins for the Beavers.
