DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 57,CURWENSVILLE 27

DUBOIS, Pa. – Behind a career-night from Faith Jacob of 26 points and 13 rebounds DuBois Central Catholic rolled to a 57-27 win over visiting Curwensville.

Farley netted 14 first-half points to help DCC to a 26-17 halftime lead then scored 12 more in the second half to help put the game away.

                                      

Sophia Ginther also reached double digits for the Lady Cardinals with 10 points.

Alyssa Bakaysa led Curwensville with 12 points with Joslynne Freyer adding seven.

KANE 39, BRADFORD 31

KANE, Pa. – Madi Koza scored seven of her team-best 12 points in the third quarter to help Kane gain some separation on visiting Bradford on its way to a 39-31 win over the Lady Owls.

                          

The Lady Wolves led by one, 21-20, at halftime but behind Koza outscored Bradford 12-6 in the third quarter to built a seven-point lead.

Rainee Wright added nine points in a balanced scoring effort for Kane with Audri Marconi and Sarri Swanson each scoring eight points.

Hannah Lary, despite foul trouble, led all scorers with 13 points for Bradford. Alanna Benson added nine points for the Lady Owls.

DUBOIS 56, CLARION-LIMESTONE 36

DUBOIS, Pa. – Olivia Johnson and Abby Guiher combined to score 25 points to help DuBois break a mini-two-game losing streak with a 56-36 win over visiting Clarion-Limestone.

Johnson led all scorers with 14 points with Guiher adding 11 for the Lady Beavers. Alexas Pfeuffer chipped in seven tallies.

Anna Kennemuth led C-L with 12 points with Frances Milliron adding nine and Kendall Dunn eight.

ELK COUNTY CATHOLIC 46, CAMERON COUNTY 39

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Syd Alexander scored a game-high 17 points and added four steals to lead visiting Elk County Catholic to a 46-39 win over Cameron County.

                                   

Tori Newton had a double-double for the Lady Crusaders with 11 points and 11 rebounds, and Tami Geci chipped in four points and four steals.

Hailey Hilfiger and Kaelee Bresslin combined to score all but eight of Cameron County’s points.

Hilfiger led the Lady Raiders with 16 points with Bresslin adding 15 points, four assists, and three steals.
