BROOKVILLE 59, FOREST AREA 33

TIONESTA, Pa. – Alayna Haight drained eight 3-pointers on her way to a career-high 27 points to lift visiting Brookville to a 59-33 win over Forest Area at West Forest.

Haight spread her triples out throughout the night hitting two in the first quarter, one in the second, two more in the third, and three in the fourth.

                                      

Liz Wonderling added 15 points in the win for the Lady Raiders.

Jessica Wagner led Forest Area with 13 points with Megan Clow 10 points.

NORTH CLARION 52, BROCKWAY 31

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Gwen Siegel scored a game-high 20 points, and Addison Shaftic played a superb all-around game while hitting a 3-pointer to help North Clarion beat visiting Brockway, 52-31.

                          

The teams were tied at nine after the first quarter before the She-Wolves outscored Brockway 24-7 over the next two quarters to take control of the game.

Shaftic, who was named the Allegheny Grille of Foxburg Player of the Game, talked about the win.

Danielle Wood paced Brockway with 14 points and four steals with Ciara Morellu adding 10 points.

Selena Buttery was held to a season-low two points after picking up three first-quarter fouls and playing the rest of the game in foul trouble.

VENANGO CATHOLIC 38, SHEFFIELD 26

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Lily Homan scored 17 points to help visiting Venango Catholic to a 38-26 win over Sheffield.

Kennedy Liederbach added eight points in the win for the Lady Vikings.

Annabel Sheldon led Sheffield with 11 points.

                                   

COUDERSPORT 40, ST. MARYS 35

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Visiting Coudersport overcame a third-quarter dry spell to beat St. Marys, 40-35.

The Lady Falcons led 20-14 at halftime but were outscored 10-4 in the third quarter allowing St. Marys to tie the game at 24 going to the final eight minutes.

But Rosalyn Page got hot in the fourth quarter scoring nine of her 15 points to help Coudersport pull out the victory.

Sarah Chambers also scored 15 points in the win for the Lady Falcons.

Kyla Johnson led St. Marys with 15 points.

CURWENSVILLE 51, HARMONY 32

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – Alyssa Bakaysa exploded for a season-best 26 points to lead Curwensville to a 51-32 win over visiting Harmony.

Skylar Pentz added 13 points in the win for the Lady Tide who also got nine second-half points from Kyra Henry.

Traci Hauser led Harmony with 14 points.

CRANBERRY 36, UNION 23

SENECA, Pa. – Ava Ferringer recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead Cranberry past visiting Union, 36-23.

Kia Dean chipped in eight points and 10 boards for the Berries, who used a 19-3 third-quarter advantage to erase an 11-9 halftime deficit.

Both teams struggled in the first 16 minutes with Cranberry going up 6-0 at the end of a quarter before falling behind by two at the break.

Ferringer then took over in the third quarter scoring 11 of her 21 points in the frame.

                                  

Dominika Logue scored 10 points for Union, all in the second half.

REDBANK VALLEY 49, KARNS CITY 41

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – In a game not as close as the score would indicate, Redbank Valley beat visiting Karns City, 49-41.

The Lady Bulldogs, behind 11 first-half points from Alivia Huffman, led 35-16 at halftime and were still up 16, 40-24, going to the fourth quarter.

Caylen Rearick continued her hot hand with a game-high 19 points for Redbank Valley with Huffman adding 11 and Madison Foringer eight.

Emma Johns led Karns City with 11 points with Emma Dailey adding nine tallies.

CLARION, Pa. – Payton Simko knocked home a career-high 19 points to lead Clarion to a 59-40 win over visiting DuBois Central Catholic.

Simko was hot in the first half scoring 15 points before the break to help the Lady Cats take a 42-29 halftime lead.

Erica Selfridge added 13 points in the win for Clarion with Jordan Best scoring 12 and Noel Anthony nine.

Jesse Frank led DCC with 13 points with Kayley Riser adding 12 and Paris Farly nine.

CAMERON COUNTY 62, NORTHERN POTTER 39

EMPORIUM, Pa. – On Senior Night in Emporium, Cameron County rode four of its seniors to a 62-39 win over visiting Northern Potter.

Hailey Hilfiger had a game-high 21 points to go with four steals and four blocks, Kaelee Bresslin added 16 points, Mallory McKimm had 12 points, three steals, and three blocks, and Morgan Lorenzo added four points and 10 rebounds. Two other seniors also scored with Taylor Lamont hitting a 3-pointer and Reggie Goodrow scoring five points, including a 3-pointer of her own.

Courtney Martin led Northern Potter with 10 points with Aubrey Anderson scoring nine.

HOLLIDAYSBURG 57, DUBOIS 37

HOLLIDAYSBURG, Pa. – Marin Miller scored a game-high 19 points to lead Hollidaysburg past visiting DuBois, 57-37.

Ali Hatajik added 18 points in the win.

Saige Weible led DuBois with nine points with Abby Guiher adding eight.

PENNS VALLEY 53, CLEARFIELD 36

HYDE, Pa. – Visiting Penns Valley got 25 combined points from Kailen Winkelblech and Leah Beben to beat Clearfield, 53-36.

Winkelblech led all scorers with 13 points with Beben adding 12.

Paige Rhine had a double-double for Clearfield with 11 points and 14 rebounds. Also for the Lady Bison, Megan Durandetta hit three 3-pointers to score nine points and Emma Hipps added eight points.
