BROOKVILLE 56, CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 43

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – A 21-point effort from Jace Miner helped Brookville pick up a 56-43 win over visiting Cambridge Springs.

Hunter Geer added 11 points for the Raiders who also got eight apiece from Robert Keth and Griffin Ruhlman. Ruhlman chipped in seven rebounds.

                                      

Trent Wheeler had 15 points and four rebounds for Cambridge Springs with Nathan Held adding 12 points and six rebounds and Jayden Shinsky eight points and six boards.

REDBANK VALLEY 70, SHEFFIELD 37

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Bryson Bain, Chris Marshall and Marquese Gradlock each had double-doubles to help Redbank Valley earn a 70-37 road victory over Sheffield.

Bain led the Bulldogs offense with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Marshall knocked down three 3-pointers on his way to 20 points and 10 rebounds while Gradlock contributed 18 points and 10 boards.

                          

Tyler Hepinger paced the Wolverines with 13 tallies while Tony Richards chipped in 10.

PORT ALLEGANY 35, KANE 27

KANE, Pa. – Port Allegany got a balanced offensive attack to take a 35-27 road win over Kane.

Drew Evens and Carter Moses each had nine points for the Gators while Ty Guilds added eight.

Carson Whiteman paced the Wolves with a pair of 3-pointers on his way to eight points.

MONITEAU 65, NORTH CLARION 52

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Kyle Pry’s 16-points, 10-rebound double-double helped visiting Moniteau bet North Clarion, 65-52.

Quinton Scriven also had a double-double for the Warriors with 10 points and 10 rebounds with Mason Mershimer chipping in 12 points, eight rebounds, and three assists and Tanner Williams 12 points.

Three players reached double digits for North Clarion led by 16 points from Josh Daum. Colin Schmader added 14 points and Zeelan Hargendrader chipped in with 12.

                                   

WEST SHAMOKIN 58, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 37

DUBOIS, Pa. – Trevor Smulik and Jack McCullough combined to score 27 points to lead visiting and unbeaten West Shamokin to a 58-37 win over DuBois Central Catholic.

Smulik led the Wolves with 15 points with McCullough adding 12.

Dante Armanini led DCC with nine points, Harrison Starr added eight, and Alec Srock seven.

WARREN 63, DUBOIS 48

WARREN, Pa. – Ben Berdine scored 27 points and pulled down 10 rebounds as Warren pulled away in the second half for a 63-48 win over DuBois.

Berdine scored 18 points in the first half and seven more in the fourth quarter to help the Dragons, who led by one, 26-25 at halftime.

Parks Ordiway made five 3’s on his way to a 19-point performance for Warren

Lennon Lindholm scored 15 points to lead DuBois, while Jordin Sommers added 13 and Michael Orzechowski nine.

SLIPPERY ROCK 44, A-C VALLEY 37

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Homestanding Slippery Rock received 12 points from Dylan Gordan, including 10 in the second half, as the Rockets beat A-C Valley.

Shane Thompson and Ethan Plesakov each added nine points for Slippery Rock.

Levi Orton had 16 points and 15 rebounds for A-C Valley with Broc Weigle adding 11 points and Eli Penny four points and eight rebounds.

MERCER, Pa. – Mercer used a balanced scoring effort to beat visiting Union, 54-42.

Dom Pugh led the Mustangs with 11 points, Woody Nickel and Jake Mattocks each added 10 tallies, Sam Ellison and Nate Haines each had eight points, and Julian Lawrence scored seven.

Caden Rainey paced Union with 14 points with Payton Johnston scoring 13.

OIL CITY 56, CLARION 46

OIL CITY, Pa. – Holding visiting Clarion to nearly 30 points below its season average, Oil City pulled away from the Bobcats in the fourth quarter to pick up a 56-46 win.

Clarion entered the game averaging 74.2 points per game, including 88 per game over its last three but was held to a season-low by the Oilers.

Oil City led by one, 43-42, going to the fourth quarter but held Clarion to four points in the final eight minutes, all from the free-throw line.

Judas Johnson scored eight of his game-high 20 points in the fourth quarter for the Oilers, while Holden Stahl added 13 points and Isaiah Aeshbacher nine.

Cal German led Clarion with 18 points, but was held scoreless in the fourth quarter, while Beau Verdill added 15 points while going 8 of 8 from the free-throw line. Verdill added seven rebounds with Hunter Craddock grabbing a team-best nine boards to go with eight points.
