REDBANK VALLEY 53, KEYSTONE 38

NEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Getting 46 of its 53 points from the trio of Alivia Huffman, Madison Forninger, and Caylen Rearick, Redbank Valley knocked visiting Keystone from the ranks of the unbeaten with a 53-38 win.

Huffman scored a game-high 24 points for the Lady Bulldogs with Foringer adding 12 and Rearick 10.

                                      

Behind 10 first-half points from Huffman, Redbank Valley builts a 25-15 halftime lead and expanded on its in the third quarter thanks in part to five points from Rearick which helped the Lady Bulldogs lead get to 15 points, 38-23, after three.

Emily Lauer scored 21 points for Keystone with Jozee Weaver adding nine.

CLEARFIELD 53, DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 44

HYDE, Pa. – Emma Hipps exploded for a career-high 29 points while going 5 of 9 from 3-point range to lead Clearfield past visiting DuBois Central Catholic, 53-44.

                          

Roley Ryen added 13 points and six assists for the Lady Bison.

Kayley Risser led DCC with 19 points with Jessy Frank adding 11 points and Faith Jacob chipping in 10.

VENANGO CATHOLIC 45, FOREST AREA 36

MARIENVILLE, Pa. – Lily Homan netted a game-high 24 points to help visiting Venango Catholic top Forest Area, 45-36, at East Forest.

Kennedy Liederbach added seven points for the Lady Vikings.

Jessica Wagner paced Forest Area with 18 points.

PUNXSUTAWNEY 59, BROCKWAY 36

PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. – Chloe Presloid scored 19 points and added five rebounds and four steals to help Punxsutawney to a 59-36 win over visiting Brockway.

Katelyn Griebel added 12 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and a steal for the Lady Chucks with Sarah Weaver chipping in 11 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

Also for Punxsutawney, Danielle Griebel handed out five assists while scoring five points.

                                   

Selena Buttery paced Brockway with 12 points and 12 rebounds, Danielle Wood added 10 points and five assists, and Maddie Schmader had eight rebounds and five points.

KARNS CITY 28, WILMINGTON 20

WILMINGTON, Pa. – Brooke Manuel and Emma Johns each scored eight points to help visiting Karns City to a 28-20 win over Wilmington.

The Lady Gremlins used an 11-3 first quarter to take control of the game early with Johns scoring six of her eight points in the quarter.

Renee Ealy led Wilmington with eight points.

BELLEFONTE 46, DUBOIS 38

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Bellefonte outscored visiting DuBois by 12 points in the third quarter on its way to a 46-38 win over the visiting Lady Beavers.

Up 20-16 at halftime, the Lady Raiders outpaced DuBois 17-5 in the third quarter to open up a 16-point lead.

DuBois fought back in the fourth quarter but couldn’t get over the hump.

Bellefonte got a balanced scoring effort with Maddie Tice scoring 14 points, Bella Corman 13, and Mia Johnson 10.

Abbyy Guiher hit three 3-pointers and scored 12 points for DuBois with Madison Rusnica adding eight points.
