ECC Starts Season with 32-6 Win over Cameron County

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Mason McAllister ran for a touchdown and threw for a touchdown and Sam Kaul rushed for over 100 yards and scored twice to help Elk County Catholic to a season-opening 32-6 win over Cameron County in IU9 Small School Division action at St. Marys High School.

McAllister was 7 of 14 passing for 73 yards including a 10-yard pass to Kaul while 23 yards rushing on five carries and opening the scoring with a 1-yard run.

Kaul, meanwhile, added a 66-yard touchdown jaunt and ran 11 times for 138 yards while catching two passes for 18 yards.

Nick Crisp also went over 100 yards on the ground for ECC with 110 on 20 carries with a 1-yard scoring run, and Bryan Schatz also scored on a 22-yard run. Crisp also intercepted a pass.

            

Dylan Rieder scored on a 3-yard run for Cameron County and carried 15 times for a team-best 93 yards. Lathan Reed added 11 totes for 57 yards for the Red Raiders.
