ERIE, Pa. – Villa Maria’s Anne Marie Prichard and Abby Consiglio, as well as McDowell’s Nabiah Bhatti and Samantha Becker captured District 10 doubles championships on Thursday.
For Prichard and Consiglio, it’s their second consecutive D10 Class 2A crown, as they bested Mercyhurst Prep’s Alie DiNicola and Lauren Richmond, 7-5, 6-4.
Bhatti and Becker, meanwhile, earned their Class 3A victory over fellow Trojan teammates Maria Minchelli and Emma Heinlein. This is also Becker’s second-straight crown.
The two teams advance to the PIAA doubles championships Nov. 5 and 6 at Hershey.
