CLARION, Pa. – District 9 released its 2024 basketball playoff brackets on Thursday, Feb. 15.

Top seeds on the boys’ side include Elk County Catholic (Class 1A), Redbank Valley (Class 2A), Brookville (Class 3A), and Punxsutawney (Class 4A).
Top seeds on the girls’ side include Elk County Catholic (Class 1A), Redbank Valley (Class 2A), Karns City (Class 3A), and Punxsutawney (Class 4A).
Super Saturday returns to PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym on Saturday, March 2, with six title games (Class 1A, 2A, and 4A boys and girls) with the Class 3A subregional title games being Friday, March 1. The 3A D9 title games will also be at Tippin Gym on Thursday, Feb. 22.
