BROOKVILLE, Pa. – District 9 announced locations for some of the upcoming playoff games.
The D9 2A boys’ semifinals will take place March 1 at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym.
The first game will start at 6 p.m. and feature top-seeded Otto-Eldred vs. fourth-seeded Ridgway. That game will be followed at 7:30 p.m. with second-seeded Clarion-Limestone taking on third-seeded Karns City for the fourth time this year.
In the 1A girls’ semifinals will be played at Kane High School on Feb. 28.
The first game will have Otto-Eldred taking on DuBois Central Catholic at 6 p.m. followed by Elk County Catholic vs. North Clarion at 8 p.m.
Also the D9 2A semifinal game between Redbank Valley and Keystone will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Clarion High School. The other 2A semifinal game between Moniteau and Coudersport had already been announced for 7 p.m. Feb. 28 at Brockway High School.
Also the times for the 4A title games at PennWest Clarion’s Tippin Gym March 3 have been announced with the girls game between St. Marys and Punxsutawney set for 6 p.m. and the boys’ game between St. Marys and Clearfield at 7:30 p.m.
The fifth-place D9 1A girls’ consolation semifinals are also set with Port Allegany hosting Northern Potter at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, and Ridgway playing Clarion at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at St. Marys High School.
