
INDIANA, Pa. – Cranberry’s Dalton Wenner, Brockway’s Weston Pisarchick, and Fort LeBoeuf’s Conner McChesney captured individual titles at the 49-team Mid-Winter Mayhem at IUP.
Wenner earned a 7-4 decision over Union’s Mason Beatty in the 107, while Pisarchick got a 12-0 major decision over West Scranton’s Tyson Cook in the 114 final, and McChesney was a 3-1 sudden victory winner over Southern Columbia’s Wesley Barnes in the 172-pound final.
Fort LeBoeuf (145.5 points) finished second to West Allegheny (161) in the team standings, while Brookville was fourth with 119 points.
BURGETTSTOWN INVITATIONAL
BURGETTSTOWN, Pa. – Grove City claimed three individual titles in the 33-team Burgettstown Invitational.
Earning gold for GC were Hudson Hohman at 121 pounds with a 7-3 decision over Meadville’s Caleb Anderson, Cody Hamilton with a second-period pin over Burgettstown’s Eric Kovach, and Hunter Hohman at 160 with a 7-2 decision over Conneaut’s Collin Hearn.
Sharpsville’s Caullin Summers also claimed an individual title with a 9-5 decision over Burgettstown’s Rudy Brown at 152.
Meadville finished in second place in the team standings with 167 points, while Grove City was third with 160 and Sharpsville fourth with 139.
