MEADVILLE, Pa. – The individual postseason got underway in District 10 with the Class 2A sectionals at Meadville (Section 1) and Sharon (Section 2) on Friday and Saturday.
Saegertown (197.5 points) edged Fort LeBoeuf (187.5) for the Section I team title, while Greenville (183) slipped past Hickory (173.5) for the Section II team crown.
The top seven wrestlers in each weight class advanced to the District 10 championships next week.
Saegertown claimed five individual titles, including Carter Beck at 106, Hunter Robison at 113, Owen Hershelman at 120, Landon Caldwell at 189 and Joshua Perrine at 285.
Hickory’s Louie and Carter Gill and Connor Saylor gave the Hornets three individual titles, tops in Sectoin II.
