Clearfield’s Collins, Reynolds’ Bell Nab Bronze Medals at PIAA Class 2A Wrestling Championships Powered by Luton’s Plumbing, Heating, A/C

HERSHEY – Led by third-place finishes from Reynolds’ Chase Bell at 139 and Clearfield’s Brady Collins at 152, 18 District 9/10 wrestlers medaled at the PIAA Class 2A wrestling championships.

Bell was one of three Reynolds wrestlers to reach the podium, as Louie Gill finished fourth at 121, as did Logan Stewart at 127.

Grove City also had three wrestlers reach the podium, as Hunter Hohman was fifth at 172, while Cody Hamilton was fifth at 152 and Hudson Hohman eighth at 133.

The 133-pound weight class saw the most number of medalists, as North East’s Cyrus Hurd was fifth and Conneaut’s Hunter Gould seventh in addition to Hudson Hohman’s eighth place finish.

                              

Brookville and Clearfield also had multiple wrestlers reach the medal stand, as the Raiders’ Cole Householder was fifth at 145 and Gavin Hannah was sixth at 215, while Clearfield’s Cater Chamberlain was sixth at 189.

Faith Christian won the team title with 167 points, while Bishop McCort was second with 151.5. Reynolds finished seventh with 51 points.
