BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Clarion’s Kameron Kerle (Class 2A) and Bradford’s Jake Franz (Class 3A) are the District 9 individual golf champions.
After a first round 69, Kerle shot a second round 72 on Saturday for a two-day total of 141, edging teammate Devon Lauer, who shot 71-75, finishing second with a total of 146.
Franz, meanwhile, shot a 76 on Saturday after a first round 78 for a total of 154. St. Marys’ Louie Nedzinski shot an 84 on Saturday after an opening round 79 for a two-round total of 163. That duo qualified for the PIAA championships.
In addition in Class 2A, North Clarion’s Ethan Carll (154), Keystone’s Sean Karg (155), Cranberry’s Cayden Baker (157) and Brookville’s Killian Radel (157) qualified for the PIAA championships.
The PIAA individual championships are Oct. 16 and 17 at Penn State.
