Clarion’s Coull, Prep’s Dixon, Brockway’s Botwright, Warren’s Chapman Voted TapnPay+D10 & D9 Soccer Players of the Week

WARREN, Pa. – The votes are in for the Week 2 TapNPay+ District 10 and District 9 Soccer Players of the Week.

The Week 2 honors go to Clarion’s Lexi Coull (District 9 Girls), Cathedral Prep’s Olivia Dixon (District 10 Girls), Brockway’s Evan Botwright (District 9 Boys) and Warren’s Jack Chapman (District 10 Boys).

In the most voted on of the four ballots, Coull got the honors with 57 percent of the vote with her four-goal performance in a 6-5 win over Keystone on Sept. 7.

Dixon, meanwhile, garnered 42 percent of the votes, edging General McLane’s Sydney Rotko and Mercyhurst Prep’s Molly Taylor (both 29 percent). Dixon had two goals in a 5-1 win over rival McDowell on Sept. 6.

Botwright, meanwhile, was a runaway winner, receiving 81 percent of the vote. He had the game-winning overtime goal in a 2-1 win over Forest Area on Sept. 7.

Chapman, meanwhile, received 67 percent of the vote after his two-goal, one-assist performance in a 5-1 win over Saegertown on Sept. 10.
