NORTH BOSTON, N.Y. – Cathedral Prep alum and Penn State Behrend graduate student Jake Schmit was named AMCC Men’s Swimmer of the Week.
Schmidt won a pair of events on Saturday at Nazareth. He set a team record and was first in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:00.77 and also won the 400 freestyle in 4:19.53.
Schmidt was also a part of the record-setting 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays.
