Cathedral Prep scored 10 goals in the first half on its way to an 11-1 win over Meadville to capture the District 10 Class 3A boys’ soccer title on Wednesday.
Noah Handzel had a first half hat trick for Prep.
Max Johnson also scored a pair of goals for Cathedral Prep.
Dylan Danch, Luke Trocki and Cameron Dunbar also scored in the first half for the Ramblers, while Andrew Spitzer had a second half goal.
Graham Shellhass scored for Meadville in the second half.
Prep will face the winner of the WPIAL third place game (Thursday) between Montour and Franklin Regional in the first round of the PIAA playoffs on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
