BREAKING NEWS: Three Ruhlman Free Throws with No Time on the Clock Gives Warren D10 5A Title

WARREN, Pa. – Emma Ruhlman calmly sank three free throws with no time on the clock to give top-seeded Warren a 40-39 win over visiting Slippery Rock in the District 10 Class 5A title game.

Slippery Rock led by two, 39-37, when Warren missed a shot with around five seconds to play and was forced to foul.

The Rockets, however, missed the front end of the one-and-one, and the Dragons got the ball to Ruhlman who went down the left sideline going left-to-right and put up a desperation 3-pointer to win the game. She was fouled on the play with no time on the clock.

With no time on the clock, the junior had to go to the charity stripe with no one else but herself. It didn’t matter, as she calmly hit all three shots to give Warren its second District 10 Class 5A titles in three years.
