ERIE, Pa. – William Kongelman had a hat trick to send State College to a 5-1 win over Erie in their Class 3A subregional
Kongelman scored two goals in the first half as State College led 3-0 at halftime.
Colin Murphy and Chase Zhou also scored for State College.
Hamsa Esayed scored for the District 10 champion Royals.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Bradford edged Hollidaysburg 2-1 to advance to the PIAA playoffs, where they will meet WPIAL runner-up Hampton in the first round.

BELLEFONTE, Pa. – Bradford earned a 2-1 win over Bellefonte to advance to the PIAA playoffs.
The Lady Owls will meet WPIAL runner-up Moon in the first round.
ALTOONA 1, MCDOWELL 0
ERIE, Pa. – After 110 scoreless minutes, Altoona topped McDowell 5-3 in a shootout to advance to the PIAA playoffs.
Alannah Irwin had what proved to be the game-winning goal in the shootout for Altoona.
