Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: My dad played football and wrestled in his high school days, and I have followed in his footsteps.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: Probably my game sealing interception in our last regular season game to go 10-0 for the first time in school history in 2022.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why?
A: Penn state vs. Iowa wrestling match because in recent years it has become the most competitive matchup in college wrestling.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: Not biased, but my history teacher Mr. Penley who is also my coach always finds a way to put things into perspective and engage me in learning and is always throwing in little things that I’d probably never learn otherwise.

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: I always wear my yellow hoodie below my wrestling warm up.

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: A guided elk hunt with my dad.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: I’d like to go back to the 80s to meet my grandfather who lost his battle with leukemia.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: No.
