Q&A

Q: How did you get involved in playing sports?
A: I have always played sports since I was very young and didn’t really know what they meant, so it is all thanks to my parents for the sports I am in now.

Q: What is the most enjoyable thing you have ever had happen to you on an athletic field?
A: This isn’t just one thing but my whole ninth grade year in track. It was my first year in track and it was the year that I realized that I can actually be good at something and have fun while doing it.

Q: If you could go to any event (it doesn’t have to be a sporting event) in the world, what would it be and why? *
A: One event that I would go to right now if I had the chance, would be to go watch the Olympic games. I would just really love to see all the people who are so good and focus on that.

Q: What teacher has had the most impact on you in school? Why?
A: I have had a lot of good teachers that I look up to, but the ones that have had the most impact on me was my sixth-grade science teacher because she was just so patient, caring, and she listened. The other one that had the most impact on me was my 10th grade health care teacher because she was always there for me when I wanted someone to talk to, cry in front of, and helped when I wasn’t feeling good.

Q: Do you have any superstitions in any of the sports you play?
A: Yes, before getting into the throwing ring I tap my feet three times, right, left, right and then do that again after stepping in the circle.

Q: You have one day where you can do anything your heart desires. Cost is not a factor. What would it be?
A: I would go to as many places in Europe as possible. An hour at each place just exploring. And I know that would be a lot of traveling and train ride but that would make it so much better I believe.

Q: If you could go back in time, where would you go and why?
A: I would go back to right after the revolutionary war was over in New York to see how our government was built up and experience that instead of just reading it in a book. I know that sounds really lame but I believe that actually experiencing the history you read about would be cool.

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: Anything could have been asked. There is such a wide variety of anything that I am not sure what else exactly to say.
