Q&A

Q: What was the first sport you played? Why did you play it? Did you like it?
A: The first sport I played was baseball. I always had a baseball in my hands when I was younger and I fell in love with the game throughout my life

Q: What is the most important factor in you being successful in high school athletics?
A: I think the most important factor is to have a good mindset, work hard, and have fun.

Q: What is your favorite non-sports “go-to” activity?
A: My favorite non-sports activity is probably hunting. My dad is a big hunter and I fell in love with it.

Q: You could meet one sports figure, living or dead (1) who would it be and (2) what is the first thing you would ask them?
A: I would love to meet Bryce Harper and ask him what it’s like to get hate on a daily basis and block it all out.

Q: What is your favorite sport and if you could change one thing about your favorite sport, what would it be?
A: My favorite sport is by far baseball. I say the only thing I would change about the game of baseball is to change metal bats to wood in college.

Q: If you could eat any food in the world right now, what would it be?
A: Any type of Chinese food. Like General Tso with brown rice.

Q: What is your ideal vacation spot?
A: Hawaii

Q: Is there anything you wish we would have asked you? If so, what is the question/answer?
A: How do I handle the amount of adversity you get as a freshman? I try to block it out the most I can and if I can’t, I use it as fuel to perform better.
