WARREN, Pa. – The YDL Sports Network has teamed up with Seven Mountains Media’s Clarion location to provide a football game of the week every Friday night on The Goat, 94.1 FM and WWCH, 1300 AM.
“We are very excited to have this partnership,” Chris Rossetti, co-owner of yourdailylocal, LLC, the parent company of the YDL Sports Network, said. “With us providing our audio to the radio stations, it just increases the reach for football fans across the area to be able to follow games.”
The partnership will kick off Friday, Aug. 25, when Redbank Valley travels to Smethport and will continue Sept. 1 when Port Allegany visits Clarion for the dedication of Wiser Field. A game will be broadcast every week with other games to be announced in the near future.
All the games will be video broadcast on the YDL Sports Network and simulcast on The Goat and WWCH with Rossetti and former Clarion and Central Clarion head coach Larry Wiser as the color commentator.
“I am so happy to have Larry back for another year of providing insight to high school football fans across District 9,” Rossetti said. “I firmly believe Larry is the most knowledgable color commentator in the area when it comes to high school football and really perhaps in the entire state. His dedication to high school football as first a coach and now a broadcaster is unparalleled.”
In addition to the partnership with Seven Mountains Media, the YDL Sports Network will have at minimum one additional game per week and in a lot of weeks two additional games giving it three broadcasts per week.
“We made a pledge to give sports fans as much coverage of high school sports as well can, and we believe we are doing that,” Rossetti said.
