BROCKWAY, Pa. – Watch live as top-seeded Redbank Valley takes on No. 2 seed Port Allegany for the 2023 District 9 Class 1A Championship.
Brian Hagberg and Kerry Hawver have the call as the Gators seek to defend their title, while the Bulldogs are playing in their fourth title game in five years and are in search of their third title in that span.
Redbank Valley rolled past Coudersport, 49-13, in the semifinals despite being without quarterback Braylon Wagner, or backup Jaxson Huffman, or “emergency” QB Owen Clouse.
Port Allegany defeated Brockway, 29-10, behind a monster game from Aiden Bliss who had 35 carries for 288 yards and four touchdowns.
These two teams have won the last three D9 1A titles. Redbank Valley in 2020 and 2021, and Port Allegany in 2022.
