
BROCKWAY, Pa. – Jaxon Huffman and Ashton Kahle connected on an 81-yard touchdown pass early in the third quarter to break the game open as Redbank Valley defeated Port Allegany, 26-7, to win the District 9 Class 1A title.
The title is the third in four years for the Bulldogs, who knocked off the defending champion Gators to regain the crown.
Huffman, starting in place of the injured Braylon Wagner threw for over 300 yards and three touchdowns and ran in another score. Kahle had nine catches for 249 yards and two scores to become the first Bulldog with 1,000 receiving yards in a season.
