MECHANICSBURG, Pa. – A trio of Cathedral Prep players were named to the PA Football Writers All-State team in Class 5A.
Earning the honors were Wakeem Page at receiver, Damario Crawford at defensive back, and Jyree Roberts at linebacker.
The Ramblers went 8-3 this season, advancing to the PIAA quarterfinals before dropping a hard-fought decision to eventual PIAA champ Pine-Richland.
Page had 35 receptions for 511 yards and a pair of touchdowns for the Ramblers, while Crawford had a pair of interceptions and Roberts 74 tackles.
Pine-Richland’s Ryan Palmieri was named Player of the Year and his coach, Jon LeDonne, Coach of the Year.
