Sponsored Content: The Rehab Centre in Brookville Now Open Three Days a Week to Serve Local Athletes

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Thankfully the school year has begun and with that come sports!

Our student-athletes are in the thick of it and we need them to stay healthy and injury-free. The longer the season the more likely the chance of injury, no matter what level of competition, it can happen. Luckily many injuries are not career-ending, and athletes can compete simultaneously while getting treatment.

The Rehab Centre in Brookville is a full-service chiropractic and rehabilitation clinic. They treat kids and adults of all ages and many athletic teams from middle school to the collegiate level. Our athletes experience a wide range of injuries including spine pain, rib contusions, extremity issues, as well as plantar fasciitis, and headaches. These are just a few of the injuries that can be treated at our office. Even generalized stiffness, aches, or discomfort can be eased through chiropractic care. Sprain or strains and muscular injuries are some of the most common ones that athletes present with.

Many student-athletes present with minor injuries that can be addressed while they are competing. Injuries to the shoulders, hips, knees, and ankles are very common.

Some services that are available to athletes at The Rehab Centre in Brookville are manual therapy, soft tissue mobilization, therapeutic ultrasound, electric muscle stimulation, and taping. The Rehab Centre in Brookville also has a licensed massage therapist on staff to better treat myofascial pain. Patients find great relief when pairing the massage and chiropractic care together. The faster you seek treatment for injuries, the quicker recovery can begin.

No referral is needed to be seen at The Rehab Centre and Brookville and new patients are scheduled daily! Additionally, the Rehab Centre in Brookville has the ability to order x-rays and MRI’s.
