Sharpsville's Josh Divens picked up his 100th career win.

SHARPSVILLE, Pa. – With the score tied at 30 going into the final bout, Sharpsville’s Jacob Burdett picked up a 4-3 decision over Commodore Perry’s Konrad Drew to send the No. 8 Blue Devils past the No. 9 Panthers in the first round of the District 10 Class 2A team duals.

                        

At 172, Sharpsville’s Josh Divens picked up his 100th career win with an 11-7 decision over Mitchell Tingley.

Sharpsville got pins from Caullin Summers (160), Michael McCldarn (127), Ethan Springer (133) and Alex Rueberger (139), and a win by decision by Max Hernandez at 215.

Commodore Perry got pins from Aiden Osborne (189), Garet Guthrie (285), Julian Zacherl (121) and Brayden Booher (145) and wins by decision from Drew Gilarno (107) and Mason Anderson (114).

With the win, Sharpsville advances to face No. 1 seed Reynolds on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

                              

GREENVILLE 52, NORTH EAST 24

GREENVILLE, Pa.- No. 5 seed Greenville won five bouts by fall and three more by forfeit in a 52-24 win over No. 12 North East in the first round of the District 10 Class 2A wrestling duals.

Gavin Grant (107), Hunter Cox (145), Rudy Gentile (160), Bennett Hayne and Teague Calvin (285) all won by fall for the Trojans.

Myles Robertson (152) also picked up a 11-0 major decision over Michael McGrath.

North East got pins from Rocky Kowle (121), Bryson Galloway (127) and Kyler See (133).

                          

With the win, Greenville advances to face No. 4 General McLane on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

GROVE CITY 54, CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS 22

GROVE CITY, Pa. – No. 6 Grove City got eight pins, including the 100th career victory for Cody Hamilton at 152 in a 54-22 win over No. 11 Cambridge Springs.

Nolan Renick (215), Tanner Hamilton (114), Antony Davis (121), Connor Nader (127), Hudson Hohman (133), Hunter Hohman (172) and Ian McCreary all won by fall for the Eagles.

With the win, Grove City advances to face No. 3 Corry on Saturday in the quarterfinals.

TITUSVILLE 42, SAEGERTOWN 12

TITUSVILLE, Pa. – No. 7 Titusville got five pins in a 42-12 win over No. 10 Saegertown.

Landon Wolfkiel (152), Gavin Donaldson (160), Sawyer Wolfkiel (107), Isaac Roberts (114) and Nate Stearns (139) won by pin for the Rockets.

Kameron Mong (172), Kaleb Brunst (189) and Burke Hancock (215) all won via decision for Titusville.

                           

Logan Corner (285), Isaac Huya (121), Carter Beck (127) and Travis Huya (133) all won by decision for Saegertown.

With the win, Titusville advances to face No. 2 Fort LeBoeuf, the 2023 PIAA runner-up, on Saturday in the quarterfinals.
