PUNXSUTAWNEY 3, A-C VALLEY 1

FOXBURG, Pa. – Katelyn Griebel had 15 kills, 13 digs and four aces to lead visiting Punxsutawney to a 3-1 (15-25, 25-18, 25-15, 25-15) win over A-C Valley.

Danielle Griebel ran the offense with 28 set assists for the Lady Chucks, while Elliott Ferrent chipped in nine kills and four aces.

Andrea Meals led A-C Valley with nine kills and 12 digs with Meah Ielase adding seven kills and seven digs. Rachel Cullen ran the offense with 18 set assists and also had 10 digs.

            

COUDERSPORT 3, AUSTIN 0

AUSTIN, Pa. – Liz Frame had 13 set assists, an ace and a dig in Coudersport’s sweep, 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-21) at Austin.

Paige Watson paced the Lady Falcons with six kills, five aces, three digs and two blocks with Vanessa VanWhy adding five kills, seven digs, an ace and a block.

Ella Brewer had two kills and six digs for Austin, Marah Fowler added six set assists and Kylie Welsh chipped in three blocks and three aces.

BROCKWAY 3, FOREST AREA 0

                          

BROCKWAY, Pa. – Strong serving helped Brockway roll past visiting Forest Area, 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-6).

Ciara Morelli had eight aces and seven kills for the Lady Rovers with Natalie Wilson also adding eight aces and freshman Lauren Rendos four aces, all in the third set.

Izzy Flick paced Forest Area with five digs and Olivia Thompson had two aces.

SHEFFIELD 3, BROOKVILLE 1

BROOKVILLE, Pa. – Kassidy Orinko had 12 kills to lead visiting Sheffield to a 3-1 (27-25, 26-24, 21-25, 25-18) win at Brookville.

Kadence Steffan ran the offense for the Lady Wolverines with 29 set assists, Annabel Sheldon paced the defense with 23 digs and Lily Lauffenberger was perfect from the serving line while contributing five aces.

Maggie Mackins led Brookville with nine kills, Reggan Olon added seven kills and three set assists, Bella Hill had five kills and Ashton Pangallo five aces.

OSWAYO VALLEY 3, CAMERON COUNTY 1

EMPORIUM, Pa. – Twenty-four kills, 23 digs and two aces from Jadyn Bradham led Oswayo Valley to a 3-1 (28-26, 20-25, 25-22, 25-22) road victory over Cameron County.

Macy West added 14 kills, 12 digs, five aces and three blocks for the Green Wave with Johanna Dickerson running the offense with 30 set assists while adding six kills, 15 digs and two blocks.

                        

Morgan Lorenzo and Kaelee Bresslin each had eight kills for Cameron County with Mallory McKimm adding seven kills.

KARNS CITY 3, UNION 1

RIMERSBURG, Pa. – Visiting Karns City got eight kills, six blocks and an ace from Morgan Smith on its way to a 3-1 (20-25, 26-24, 25-13, 25-21) win over Union.

Emma Johns added five kills, three aces and 10 set assists for the Lady Gremlins who also got 11 kills, 13 set assists and five digs from Rosalie Carden, seven digs from Shavon McCanna, three kills, two blocks, an ace and 13 digs from Ashley Fox and eight digs, three kills and an ace from Amber Mauer.

REDBANK VALLEY 3, FRANKLIN 1

         

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Redbank Valley overcame a slow start on the road to beat Franklin, 3-1 (22-25, 25-13, 25-12, 25-12).

Montana Hetrick led the Lady Bulldogs with 16 kills and two aces, Brianna Minich added 12 kills and a block, Alivia Huffman also had 12 kills with Carlie Rupp contributing six service aces and Brynn Rearick 11 digs. Brooke Holben ran the offense with 37 set assists while also recording three aces.

CURWENSVILLE 3, MOSHANNON VALLEY 0

HOUTZDALE, Pa. – Alyssa Bakaysa’s 13 kills led Curwensville with a 3-0 (25-14, 25-12, 25-16) win over Moshannon Valley.

Emma Caldwell set up Bakaysa with 23 set assists.

DUBOIS CENTRAL CATHOLIC 3, NORTH CLARION 2

FRILLS CORNERS, Pa. – Savanah Morelli and Sophia Ginther each had six kills to help DuBois Central Catholic to a 3-2 (25-22, 21-25, 25-20, 18-25, 17-15) win at North Clarion.

Morelli added 20 digs and Ginter two blocks for the Lady Cardinals, while Erin Maloney had 12 set assists and four aces.

Emily Aites paced North Clarion with 13 kills, Amya Green had 41 digs and Sarah Aaron 29 set assists.

NORTHERN POTTER 3, ST. MARYS 2

ST. MARYS, Pa. – Lydia Zdrojewski had a team-best nine kills to go with three blocks to help Northern Potter to a 3-2 (25-11, 23-25, 17-25, 25-21, 15-8) win at St. Marys.

Courtney Martin added six kills, 37 digs, two set assists and an ace, Madison Hoopes had 49 digs and Megan Hyde five kills and 31 digs for the Lady Panthers.

Holly Anthony and Payton Bauer led St. Marys’ offense with eight kills apiece, Samantha Vavala ran the offense with 15 set assists while Rylee Nicklas added eight set assists, Meghan McGonnell had 37 digs and Janelle Krug 18 digs.

GALETON 3, PORT ALLEGANY 1

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – After dropping the first set, visiting Galeton won three straight to pick up a 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-21) win over Port Allegany.

Alli Macensky led the Lady Tigers on offense with 11 kills, a block and an ace while also picking up on dig. Alexis Johnson and Olivia Rohrbaugh each added five kills with Johnson also contributing five aces, two digs and two blocks and Rohrbaugh nine digs and two aces, Tressa Succowich had six aces, five digs and two kills, Lauren Sauley 10 digs, eight set assists, three aces and two kills, Mikayla Schott six digs and Makenna Shuemaker 15 set assists, 11 digs and two aces.

Jade Evens paced Port Allegany with seven kills, 11 digs and four aces with Shannon Curfman adding 10 kills and nine blocks and Madeline Smith nine kills, 13 digs and three aces. Tori Tanner also had two kills, four set assists, eight aces and 16 digs, and Marah Rush ran the Lady Gators offense with 19 set assists while adding nine digs.

KEYSTONE 3, VENANGO CATHOLIC 0</strong.

OIL CITY, Pa. – Alyssa Weaver had six aces and 13 set assists to help visiting Keystone sweep Venango Catholic, 3-0 (25-11, 25-9, 25-13).

Sydney Bell chipped in nine kills and two blocks for the Lady Panthers with Alexandria Johnston adding 12 digs, nine set assists and three aces.

OTTO-ELDRED 3, SMETHPORT 0</strong.

DUKE CENTER, Pa. – Reilly Raught and Haylee Cousins combined for nine kills in a 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-9) Otto-Eldred home win over Smethport.

Raught had five kills, four digs, five aces and two blocks for the Lady Terrors with Cousins adding four kills, two digs and an ace. Also for Otto-Eldred, Brianna Silvis had two kills, eight digs and a block. Emmalee Sheeler ran the offense with 13 set assists while adding seven aces

Kayla Swanson and Baylee Fitzsimmons each had 10 digs for Smethport with Fitzsimmons also adding three kills. Madi Faes chipped in seven digs, two kills and three aces.

FORT LEBOEUF 3, FAIRVIEW 0

WATERFORD, Pa. – Using a balanced offensive effort, Fort LeBoeuf swept visiting Fairview, 3-0 (25-15, 25-23, 25-11).

Audrey Friedman led the Bison with eight kills, Anna Bayer added seven kills, five digs and an ace, Lauren Dahn had six kills, 10 digs, three aces and two set assists, Chloeanna Rossi chipped in six kills and three digs, and Kelsie Skinner also had six kills.

Jordan Popowski had a team-best 12 digs and added four aces, Katie Proctor had 10 digs and two aces, Kerringten Wasiulewski (20 set assists) and Mackenzie Kulik (12 set assists) ran the offense with Kulik also adding four aces and three digs.

ROCKY GROVE 3, OIL CITY 0

OIL CITY, Pa. – Quinlynn Keith and Sarah Plumber each had five kills to help visiting Rocky Grove sweep Oil City, 3-0 (25-14, 25-19, 25-22).

Plumer added a pair of blocks for the Orioles, while Courtney Clark had five aces and three kills and Abby Williams five aces.

Kaya Skinner led Oil City with eight kills, three aces and two blocks with Ashley Wurster adding six set assists and Lizzie Hoovler four digs, two aces and two set assists.
