HERSHEY, Pa. – After a first-round loss to eventual state champion Faith Christian, Reynolds rallied to finish fourth at the PIAA Class 2A team championships.
After the loss to Faith Christian, the Raiders went on to beat Bald Eagle Area 27-25 and Burrell 39-24.
On Saturday, they beat Bishop McDevitt, 36-24, before falling to Notre Dame-Green Pond 41-18 in the third-place match.
Against McDevitt, the Raiders got pins from Vito Gentile (160), Kolton Wilkinson (215) and Caey Resek (285).
Winning by major decision for the Raiders were Angelo Lomonte (107), Louie Gill (121) and Logan Stewart (127).
Louie DeJulia (172) and Chase Bell (139) won by decision.
In the third-place match, Gill got a pin at 121, while Lomonte (107), Stewart (127) and Gentile (160) all won via decision.
