WARREN, Pa. – McDowell gets to return to the field this Friday against Erie High, and they will do so once again as the No. 1 team in the D9and10Sports District 10 rankings.
The Trojans make their much anticipated return after beating Cathedral Prep 24-10 on Sept. 25.
With everyone in the top 10 winning this week, the rest of the rankings remain unchanged.
The Class 4A and 2A playoffs begin on Friday. No. 3 Oil City will host Conneaut in the Class 4A semifinals, while No. 7 Harbor Creek will host No. 9 Meadville.
In Class 2A, No. 6 Farrell travels to take on Northwestern in the Class 2A semifinals, with the winner to meet No. 2 WIlmington for the D-10 championships on Oct. 30.
