CLARION, Pa. – It was announced Monday at that the District 9 Class 2A semifinal game between Karns City and Central Clarion County set for 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, will be played at Clarion University’s Memorial Stadium.
This will be the second meeting of the season between the third-seeded Gremlins (4-2) and the second-seeded Wildcats (5-1). Clarion beat Karns City, 43-41, Oct. 9 at Karns City. Central Clarion County rallied from a 35-15 deficit heading to the fourth quarter to win that game and secured the win when it stopped the Gremlins’ two-point conversion attempt with no time on the clock.
