Prince Nets 100th Career Goal in Bradford Girls’ Win; Dixon’s Hat Trick Sends Prep Past McDowell in OT (Oct. 18 Soccer Recaps)

BRADFORD, Pa. – Bella Prince scored four goals, including the 100th of her career, as Bradford beat St. Marys, 9-0.

Kelsea Austin had three goals in the win for the Lady Owls while Kierstan Taylor also scored for Bradford.

Prince also had two assists in the win.

CATHEDRAL PREP 3, MCDOWELL 2, overtime

ERIE, Pa. – Olivia Dixon scored all three Cathedral Prep girls, including the game-winner in overtime as Cathedral Prep beat rival McDowell, 3-2.

            

Callie Cacchione had two assists and CC Cacchione two for the Ramblers in the win.

WILMINGTON 2, CORRY 1

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Analiese Hendrickson scored a pair of goals as Wilmington earned a 2-1 win over Corry.

The Greyhounds led 1-0 at halftime en route to the win, with Sarah Dieter and Isabella Melnik notching assists.

Ava Weatherbee scored for Corry off an assist from Emily Geer.

                          

Brianna Jenkins made four saves for Wilmington, while Baylee Smith made nine stops for Corry.

MAPLEWOOD 1, FRANKLIN 0

FRANKLIN, Pa. – Isabele McGowan scored the lone goal of the game as Maplewood beat Franklin, 1-0.

Mady Banik had the clean sheet in net.

NORTH EAST 5, ERIE 1

ERIE, Pa. – Ayiana Thomson and Eveyln Bish scored two goals each as North East beat Erie High, 5-1.

Bish also had two assists in the win for North East.

FAIRVIEW 4, MERCYHURST PREP 0

FAIRVIEW, Pa. – Katie Scott had a hat trick as Fairview blanked Mercyhurst Prep, 4-0.

Anne Thayer had the other goal for the Tigers.

                        

Jocelyn Tatarko and Maisee combined on the shutout in net.

DUBOIS 4, WARREN 1

DUBOIS, Pa. – DuBois built a 3-1 lead on its way to a 4-1 D9/10 crossover win over Warren.

Trey Carrington scored for Warren.

         

DuBois goal scorers were unavailable.
