Sam Tojaga of the PIAA Class 3A boys’ soccer state champion Cathedral Prep was named Pennsylvania Soccer Coaches Association Coach of the Year, while a pair of Ramblers earned all-state honors.
Not only was Tojaga named Coach of the Year, but forward Noah Handzel and defender Kwame Anim-Somuah were all-state selections.
Handzel had 35 goals and 21 assists for a Ramblers team that outscored its opponents 112-21 on the season.
Anim-Somuah, meanwhile, was part of a defensive group that earned a pair of shutouts in the PIAA playoffs and allowed just five goals in their final nine games.
