Otto-Eldred Powers Past Sheffield; Wilfong, Port Allegany Top Kane

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Otto-Eldred scored six first-half touchdowns on its way to a 50-12 win at Sheffield.

The Terrors scored three times in each of the first two quarters, including three touchdown passes from Shane Magee and a pick-6 by Shene Thomas.

Magee got things started with a 32-yard strike to Davey Schenfield, Magee then connected with Hunter App for the 2-point conversion.

            

Thirty seconds later Thomas picked off Michael Knapp, filling in at quarterback for an injured Colby Barr, and returned it 37 yards for a touchdown. App found Manning Splain in the end zone for the conversion and a 16-0 lead.

Magee closed out the first quarter scoring with a 35-yard pass to Dawson Welch.

App had the Terrors’ first rushing touchdown with a 25-yard run just 45 seconds into the second quarter.

Splain added to the lead by hauling in an 11-yard pass from Magee, and Michael Eaton pushed the lead to 44-0 on a 26-yard run with 11 seconds left in the half.

Devin Kimball scored the Terrors’ final points with a 28-yard run in the third quarter.

                          

Sheffield scored both of its touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

Mike Smith had a 50-yard interception return 20 seconds into the quarter, and Andrew Kyler scored on a 5-yard run with 30 seconds left in the game.

Kyler finished with 28 yards on eight carries, Dylan Hardwick ran 19 times for 53 yards. Knapp was 1-2 passing for five yards, Hardwick made the reception.

Jaden Prince led the Terrors’ ground attack with 107 yards on six carries, App ran seven times for 86 yards and a score, while Eaton had 45 yards, and Kimball 38 yards.

Magee was 5-5 passing for 117 yards and three touchdowns. Splain had two catches for 35 yards, Welch had one grab for 35 yards, and Schenfield had one catch for 32 yards.

PORT ALLEGANY 41, KANE 7

PORT ALLEGANY, Pa. – Nick Wilfong threw for four touchdown passes as Port Allegany earned a 41-7 win over Kane.

Port Allegany led 41-0 at halftime, as Wilfong threw touchdown passes of 45 and 22 yards to Aiden Bliss, 19 yards to Peyton Stiles and 28 yards to Tristan Kiser.

Bliss also had a 6-yard rushing touchdown in the first half for Kane and Kellen Veilleux an interception return for touchdown.

Wilfong finished 8-of-10 through the air for 153 yards for the Gators, while Stiles had 10 carries for 65 yards and four receptions for 55 yards.

                        

Kane got on the board in the second half via a 20-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Zook to Zane Anderson.

WEST BRANCH 43, CURWENSVILLE 14

CURWENSVILLE, Pa. – West Branch built a 29-7 halftime on its way to a 43-14 win over Curwensville.

Tyler Biggins accounted for five total touchdowns for West Branch, tossing touchdown passes of 66 yards to Craig Fluck and 35 yards to John Stavlola in the first half.

Biggins also scored on a 3-yard touchdown run in the first half and a tossed a 5-yard score to Wyatt Schwiderske in the second half.

Tyler Dunn tossed a 62-yard touchdown pass to Braden Holland in the first half for Curwensville.

In the second half, Dante Lezzer scored on a 2-yard run for Curwensville.

and five yards to Wyatt Schwiderske in the first half.

Biggins also scored on a 3-yard touchdown run in the first half.
