WARREN, Pa. – Oswayo Valley’s Olivia Cook and Mercyhurst Prep’s Addica Sperry are the Week 9 2023 TapNPay+ District 9 and District 10 Volleyball Players of the Week.
Cook helped Oswayo Valley to a pair of District 9 Class 1A playoff wins by recording 21 kills, 32 digs, 10 aces, and four blocks over seven sets.
She had 11 kills, 15 digs, six aces, and a block in a 3-1 win over DuBois Central Catholic Tuesday then recorded another double-double with 10 kills, 17 digs, four aces, and three blocks in a 3-0 win at Clarion in the quarterfinal Thursday.
Sperry, meanwhile, had 46 kills and 43 digs in a pair of District 10 Class 2A playoff victories.
IN a 3-2 win over Sharpsville Tuesday, she had 20 kills and 26 digs and followed that up with a 26-kill, 17-dig effort in 3-0 win over Slippery Rock in the quarterfinals Thursday.
