BASEBALL
Slippery Rock 8, Mercyhurst 7
• Alex Robenolt and Luke Treman belted home runs Slippery Rock edged Mercyhurst, 8-7. Robenolt drove in four runs and Trueman drove in three runs for SRU, while Jake Norris tossed two scoreless innings of relief to get the win.
• McDowell grad Luke Jackson was 1-for-3 with three RBIs for Mercyhurst, while Warren grad Mitch Grosch was 1-for-3 with a double, RBI, walk and run scored. Warren grad Ben Berdine took the loss, allowing one run in 2 ⅓ innings on two hits, striking out two and walking two.
Kutztown 10, IUP 2
• Ethen Martini and Jimmy Kerley both homered in Kutztown’s 10-2 win over IUP. Tyler Cleveland allowed just one run in six innings to get the win.
• Patrick Apgar allowed four runs in ⅓ of an inning to take the loss, while Redbank Valley grad Bryson Bain tossed ⅓ scoreless inning of relief. Peyton Johnson had an RBI double.
Ashland 12, Gannon 11
• Jeremiah Cangelosi drove in three runs for Ashland. Zac Common allowed two runs in two innings, getting the win in relief.
• Miguel Vega belted a grand slam for Gannon. Kane grad Carson Whiteman allowed two runs in an inning of relief.

Gannon 2, Clarion 1 (Game 1)
• Andrea Watson’s 2-run double in the fifth inning lifted Gannon to the win. Gabi Vasi got the win, striking out five and allowing just five hits in the complete game effort.
• Clearfield grad Emma Hipps took the loss, allowing two runs in seven innings on seven hits, striking out three without issuing a walk. Carissa Giordano had an RBI for Clarion.
Gannon 3, Clarion 2 (Game 2)
• Maggie Lenda allowed just three hits in a complete game win, while Lauryn Rougeux drove in a pair of runs.
• Desi Allen and Tori Martrano had RBIs for Clarion, while Ashley DeWeese took the loss
