LaVan Picks Up Career Win No. 250 as Warren Rallies Past Erie; Ridgway, Saegertown Pick up Wins

ERIE, Pa. – Warren ended the game on a 14-0 run as coach Lisa LaVan picked up her 250th career win in a 40-34 win over Erie.

Sammie Ruhlman and Meea Irwin scored four points each for Warren during the game-ending surge.

Ruhlman led Warren with 11 points, while Irwin had nine and Emily Davidson eight.

Aubrey Nevins led Erie with 13 points, 11 of which came in the second quarter, while, Deija Williams had 11 points.

                                      

RIDGWAY 45, COUDERSPORT 20

COUDERSPORT, Pa. -Limiting Coudersport to eight first-half points, visiting Ridgway rolled past the Lady Falcons, 45-20.

Ridgway (4-1) led 24-8 at halftime behind 10 points from Gabby Amacher, who hit a pair of first-half 3-pointers.

Amacher hit three triples in the game and finished with a season-high 13 points.

Jenna Kasmierski led the Lady Elkers with 15 points, including 11 after halftime, while also grabbing six rebounds and blocking three shots.

                          

Sierra Myers had nine points and six rebounds to pace Coudersport (1-3) with Laura Dunn adding six points and five steals and Savannah Myers handing out five assists to go with three points.

SAEGERTOWN 49, CRANBERRY 33

SAEGERTOWN, Pa. – Lindsey Greco and Lydnze Amory combined for 41 points as Saegertown beat Cranberry, 49-33.

Greco scored 14 of her game-high 21 points in the first half, while Amory finished with 20 points.

Elena Garland led Cranberry with nine points and Raegan Antrilli had eight.

NORTH PENN-MANSFIELD 31, NORTHERN POTTER 23

MANSFIELD, Pa. – Scoring 11 of its 31 points from the free-throw line, North Penn-Mansfield knocked off visiting Northern Potter, 31-23.

The Tigers (4-3) were just 11 of 26 from the line but it was enough to be the difference against Northern Potter (3-3), which was 5 of 16 from the charity stripe.

McKenna Lightner led NP-Mansfield with 11 points with Kameron Lightner adding seven points.

Haylee Chapman paced the Lady Panthers with 10 points and six rebounds.

                                   

Emma Haynes added seven rebounds.
