Karns City’s Beighley Named KSAC MVP; All-Conference Team Named

KARNS CITY, Pa. – Karns City senior Chase Beighley, the all-time leading scorer in school history, was named the 2021 KSAC Boys’ Basketball MVP Monday.

Beighley is averaging 19.0 points per game for the Gremlins, who are the top seed in the District 9 Class 2A playoffs and has scored a school-record 1,622 career points.

Joining Beighley on the All-KSAC first-team squad were teammate Nathan Waltman, Clarion’s Cal German, A-C Valley’s Levi Orton, Clarion-Limestone’s Hayden Callen, and Redbank Valley’s Bryson Bain.

The second-team All-KSAC group was made up of Moniteau’s Kyle Pry, Clarion’s Beau Verdill, Redbank Valley’s Chris Marshall, Keystone’s Bret Wingard, and Venango Catholic’s Andrew Burda.

Third-team All-KSAC consisted of Union’s Caden Rainey, Keystone’s Colin Say, Clarion’s Hunter Craddock, C-L’s Jordan Hesdon, and Keystone’s Brandon Pierce.
