GUYS MILLS, Pa. – Host Lakeview won the team title and Grove City’s Isaac Allen shot a 75 for first place individual honors at the season-opening Lakeview Invitational at Mt. Hope Golf Course.
Allen shot a 75 on the par 72 course to earn low honors.
For Lakeview, Jackson Gadsby and Adam Snyder each carded a 77 to lead the the Sailors to the team title in the 31-team field with a score of 323.
McDowell was second in the team standings with an overall score of 326, followed by Grove City (334), Greenville (336) and Hickory (347).
Franklin’s Ty Prince also shot sub-80 with a 79, while Saegertown’s Sully Zirkle and McDowell’s John Ferretti shot an 80, Hickory’s Aiden Rueberger and Grove City’s Logan Goodrich each shot an 81 and McDowell’s Jack Mucha and Ethan Boch and Erie’s Eli Nicklas each shot an 82.
