Fox, Cuello, Pisarcik, Patton Lead Brockway Past Kane

KANE, Pa. – Brayden Fox and Aiden Patton each threw a pair of touchdown passes, as Brockway played the role of spoiler in Kane’s opening of its new turfed football field with a 42-0 win over the Wolves.

Fox threw for 239 yards while going 14 of 23 before giving way to his backup, Patton, who was 2 of 3 for 87 yards.

Jendy Cuello added a pair of touchdown runs while putting in a 100-yard output rushing for 143 yards on 19 totes.

Blake Pisarcik, who missed most of last season with an injury, had seven catches for 145 yards and a score while also adding 80 yards in kick/punt return yardage.

Caleb Daugherty also hit the 100-yard receiving mark with three grabs for 100 yards and a touchdown, and Matthew Brubaker caught five passes for 73 yards and a score.

            

BUCKTAIL 46, SHEFFIELD 26

SHEFFIELD, Pa. – Visiting Bucktail built a 32-0 halftime lead on its way to a 46-26 win over Sheffield Saturday.

Braylon Fantaski ran for three touchdowns in the win for the Bucks, including two in the first half, and finished with 11 carries for 125 yards.

Brody Pentz added a pair of touchdowns for Bucktail scoring on a 1-yard run and on an 85-yard kickoff return.

Colby Barr threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth for Sheffield. Barr was 15 of 37 passing for 294 yards while also throwing an interception. He ran five times for nine yards.

                          

Two of Barr’s touchdown passes went to Dylan Harwick, who finished with five catches for 130 yards.
