SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. – Farrell raced out to a 21-1 lead and never looked back in a 56-22 win over Rocky Grove as the Steelers won their fourth straight District 10 Class 1A title.
Kabron Smith knocked down three triples in the opening eight minutes and Danny Odem added eight points to help the Steelers build a 26-3 lead heading to the second quarter.
Farrell’s defense, meanwhile, limited the Orioles to single digits in every quarter.
Smith and Odem led the Steelers with 12 points each.
Baughman paced the Orioles with seven points.
Farrell will host Johnsonburg in the first round of the PIAA Tournament on Friday, March 8, while Rocky Grove will take on the No. 2 seed out of District 7 (WPIAL), Neighborhood Academy.
