WARREN, Pa . – Central Clarion’s Jase Ferguson and Redbank Valley’s Braylon Wagner have been putting up incredible numbers week in and week out while leading their teams to unbeaten records.

And the duo will meet on the field Friday night in New Bethlehem, which is probably why it is fitting that on a weekend of great offensive numbers across District 9, they are the co-Week Nine Jim Kelly District 9 Football Players of the Week powered by the Allegheny Grille in Foxburg.

Wagner got the weekend kicked off by accounting for six touchdowns in Redbank Valley’s 52-28 win over Brockway Thursday, while Ferguson continued his outstanding play by accounting for seven scores in Central Clarion’s 59-0 win over St. Marys.

Wagner threw for 310 yards and five touchdowns (21 of 34) while also rushing for a touchdown. He carried the ball nine times for 36 yards.

Ferguson accounted for 315 total yards of offense going 9 of 15 passing for 189 yards and four scores while rushing six times for 126 yards and three touchdowns.

It is the third time this year that each player has earned Player of the Week honors.

A special shoutout this week also goes to the Karns City offensive line which paved the way for the Gremlins to run for 601 yards and score 70 points vs. Bradford.

Joining Wagner and Ferguson on the District 9 Honor Roll are 14 players
