WARREN, Pa. – Playing the first game at the newly-christened Wiser Field behind Clarion High School in 20 years, Jase Ferguson put on a show accounting for seven of Central Clarion’s eight touchdowns in a 56-7 win over Port Allegany.
In a matchup of defending District 9 champions, Ferguson threw for five touchdowns, ran for a sixth, and returned a fumble for a seventh. If that wasn’t enough, he also added an interception on defense.
On the night, Ferguson was 13 of 19 passing for 226 yards while rushing eight times for 64 yards.
