There are also three consolation games, as Warren takes on Conneaut in 4A, Greenville battles Sharpsville in 3A and Cambridge Springs takes on Lakeview in 2A.

The 4A game is for PIAA seeding purposes only, as both teams have already advanced, while the final spot is up for grabs in 3A and 2A.

McDowell and Cathedral Prep are also hosting subregionals against Altoona and Obama Academy in 6A and 5A.

Here’s a look at each championship game.

CLASS 4A

(1) FAIRVIEW (18-6) vs. (2) HARBOR CREEK (19-5), Hagerty Center, 3:15 p.m.

It’s a rematch for the District 10 title, as the Tigers and Huskies split during the regular season.

Fairview comes in after a 53-43 win over Conneaut, while Harbor Creek beat Warren, 54-44 in the semifinals.

Hope Garrity led Fairview with 18 points in the win over CASH, while Bre Heidt had 14 and Ella Garrity 13.

For Harbor Creek in its win over Warren, Hannah Smith had 14 points, Elise Benim 11, and Brooke Przybylski and Georgia Weber nine each.

Harbor Creek won its only D10 title in 2015, while Fairview one its only crown in 2021.

The winner will face the No. 6 team from the WPIAL, while the loser gets WPIAL No. 3 (to be determined) in the first round of the PIAA championships on March 11.

CLASS 3A

(1) MERCYHURST PREP (18-5) vs. (2) WILMINGTON (21-3) at Hagerty Center, 1:30 p.m.

Wilmington will be competing for the program’s first-ever District 10 title after its semifinal win over Greenville, while Mercyhurst Prep comes in after a 50-33 win over Sharpsville.

Mercyhurst Prep, which was the No. 3 team out of District 10 a year ago, is led by junior 1,000-point scorer Olivia Kulyk, who checks in at 19.4 ppg., while Lillirose Lang averages 10.2 ppg.

This is Wilmington’s second appearance in a D10 title game, with the first coming in 1990-91.

The win over Greenville was the second for Wilmington this season, as the two teams split in the regular season.

Wilmington is led by Lia Krarup (20.5 ppg.), Reese Bruckner (6.7), Annalee Gardner (5.9), and Sarah Dieter (5.6).

The winner will face WPIAL No. 7 Waynesburg Central in the first round of the PIAA championships, while the loser gets WPIAL No. 5 OLSH on March 10.

CLASS 2A

(1) KENNEDY CATHOLIC (20-4) vs. (2) MAPLEWOOD (20-4) at Farrell H.S., 3:15 p.m.

Maplewood beat Cambridge Springs, 36-33 in overtime in the semifinals, their third win over the Blue Devils this season, while Kennedy Catholic was a 61-29 winner over Lakeview in the semis, also their third win over the Sailors.

Kennedy Catholic has won 12-straight District 10 titles, while Maplewood is back in a D10 title game after falling to West Middlesex in the 2A championship a year ago.

Both teams have championship pedigree, as the Golden Eagles were the PIAA runner-up in Class 1A a year ago while many of Maplewood’s players played key roles in their PIAA volleyball championship in the fall.
