SHARON, Pa. – District 10 released its volleyball playoff brackets on Wednesday afternoon.
All championships will be played on Nov. 2 (Thursday), excluding Class 4A between McDowell and Erie, which will be played on Oct. 24 (Tuesday).
Cochranton is the top seed in the 8-team Class 1A field, while Corry is the No. 1 seed in the 12-team Class 2A field and Meadville is the top seed in the 6-team Class 3A field.
The Class 1A quarterfinals will be played on Thursday, Oct. 26 and the semifinals on Tuesday, Oct. 31, with Class 2A following the same schedule and those first round matches being played on Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Corry, Saegertown, North East and Slippery Rock have first round byes in Class 2A.
Class 3A quarterfinal matches will be played on Wednesday, Oct. 25, with the semifinals on Oct. 31. In addition to Meadville, Warren also has a bye into the semifinals.
